Pulled a shot this morning and the purple grape note actually comes through on the finish, which I wasn’t expecting from a Yunnan bean. The wine gum sweetness makes it dangerously easy to drink black. Already looking up how to get more.
First sip and I’m genuinely surprised—the tropical fruit comes through bright and clean, not muddy like some bold roasts. These pods brew a cup that’s playful but still has that deep, serious coffee backbone. I’ve already ordered another box.
These purple grape and wine gum notes are wild, exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for. Even as espresso it's smooth, no harsh bite, and the tropical fruit lingers nicely.
